Luke 3:21-38

If baptism is to indicate the repentance of sin, why did Jesus need to be baptized? The genealogy of Jesus shows us that like us he has a mixed bag of saints and scoundrels in his family. There were people in his blood line who were Gentiles. There is nothing in us that separates us or disqualifies us from God's plan and love. He doesn't just love you. He likes you.
