Luke 10:21-24

Why does Luke bother to include this prayer and these words to the disciples in his Gospel? Aren't there more important things? This prayer is connected to the warning about Satan's pride in the verses before and the lawyer's prideful trap in the verses following. God has chosen to use the teachable and humble to bring his kingdom to earth and not the wise and worldly.
