Acts 3:11-4:22

Peter preaches to thousands in the temple about the healing of the crippled man. The Sanhedrin are disturbed by the preaching of the resurrection of Jesus and they arrest Peter and John. Peter again preaches that Jesus is the Messiah and they put him to death, but god raised him to life and now they must repent. The Sanhedrin can't punish Peter and John because the miracle is undeniable, but they also won't repent so they warn them to stop preaching and release them.
