Luke 3:1-20

John the Baptist was the first prophetic voice in 400 years. He was the one that Malachi told would come; the return of Elijah before the coming of the Messiah. His message was for the insiders; the Jewish people. They were called to repent and prepare themselves for a paradigm changing move of God. Renewal from God has never come without deep repentance from the people of God.
